Practical questions

Planning your visit

What happens at the first consultation?
A full evaluation with 3D CBCT imaging, an honest discussion of your options, and a clear, itemized treatment plan with its cost. You’ll leave knowing exactly what’s possible for your case and what it would take — with no obligation.
What should I bring to my appointment?
A photo ID, your medication list, and your insurance details if you’d like our team to help verify coverage. If you have recent dental X-rays or records, bring those too — they help, though our own 3D imaging is part of the consultation.
I’m coming from Rochester, Buffalo, or Syracuse — is the drive worth it?
Patients regularly travel to Canandaigua for complex full-arch care. Because treatment is digitally planned and same-day placement is our cornerstone approach, the number of visits is kept efficient — most of your treatment happens in a small number of well-planned appointments.
Can someone come with me on surgery day?
Yes — if your treatment uses IV sedation, you’ll need a companion to drive you home. We coordinate the day’s logistics with you in advance so there are no surprises.

Please note: routine dental implants are not a Medicaid or Medicare benefit and are primarily paid out-of-pocket or through third-party financing. If you have a credit score below 650, no co-signer, and require financing, we likely cannot help. Tooth loss with a medical cause may be different — see our medical insurance page.
