Dr. Germain Jean-Charles, DDS
Oral & Maxillofacial Pathologist with clinical expertise in complex orofacial rehabilitation using dental implants.
A specialist, not just a dentist
Dr. Germain Jean-Charles is an Oral & Maxillofacial Pathologist whose clinical focus is the reconstruction of the full mouth using dental implants. As a Fellow of the American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology, his training runs deeper than restorative dentistry into the biology and pathology of the oral and facial structures — the foundation on which durable implant work is built.
He is an Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester’s Eastman Institute for Oral Health, where advancing the science of oral health sits alongside his practice. That academic footing informs how he plans and executes complex cases at New York Dental Implants.
His practice centers on the patients other providers find difficult — significant bone loss, failing dentition, prior treatment that did not hold. Using same-day, digitally guided full-arch techniques, he restores function and appearance for people who were told implants were not possible for them. Across more than 25 years of clinical practice, that has meant thousands of implant procedures.
Patients consistently describe the same experience: a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere and a doctor who explains things plainly. Dr. Jean-Charles believes exceptional clinical work should be delivered with warmth — anxious patients are not an inconvenience here; they are the norm, and the practice is built around putting them at ease.
“Every patient deserves excellent clinical care and a calm, supported experience. My goal is to restore not just teeth, but the confidence to eat, speak, and smile without a second thought.”
